A National Day of Prayer

God’s will on earth is secured by prayer. The entire range of God’s dealing with humanity is affected by prayer.  Prayer is the force that must be used by God’s people to transform nations.  As we are facing a national crisis in America today, it is the duty of all Christians to take a stand against the evil invasion in our land through prayer.  America needs prayer warriors who will engage in battle on their knees.  It is the effectual, fervent prayers of the righteous man or woman that avail much!  -James 5:16

This Sunday, June 2nd, is dedicated as a national call to prayer for our President, Donald J. Trump.  I am asking every Christian to join with thousands around America and lift up our President in prayer.  Pray for Divine wisdom, guidance and direction.  Pray for his safety and protection.  Pray for him to be surrounded by Godly men and women who will encourage Him in the ways of God.  Pray for Godly strategies on leading our military.  Pray for God to expose the plans of the enemy.

Franklin Graham is at the helm of this national call to prayer and publically announced the following: “On June 2, we ask that pastors would lead their congregations in praying for the President, that Sunday schools and other groups would join together and pray, and that individuals and families across the country would have a special focus on praying for the President that day.”

I was honored to join fellow Faith leaders in issuing a statement that read in part, “We believe our nation is at a crossroads, at a dangerous precipice. The only one who can fix our country’s problems is God Himself, and we pray that God will bless our president and our nation for His glory.” You can read the full statement here.

Thank you for joining with us in prayer for President Trump this Sunday.  Please feel free to share with your friends and family.

Many Blessings,

Sharon
